CFS: SSHM Undergraduate Essay Prize

Do you teach undergraduate courses dealing with issues in the social history of medicine? Have you read any outstanding student essays this year? Why don’t you encourage your students to submit them for consideration for the 2015 SSHM Undergraduate Essay Prize?

The Society for the Social History of Medicine (SSHM) invites submissions to its 2015 SSHM Undergraduate Prize Competition. Up to six prizes will be awarded for the best unpublished original research essays in the social history of medicine. We will consider two groups of undergraduate students and award up to three prizes in each category.

  1. humanities and social science students, and
  2. medical, healthcare and allied science students.

The winners get GBP 100 each, and their essays may be published on the SSHM website.
