24-25 April 2015, Vancouver, BC
Call for Proposals

We are pleased to invite submissions to participate in the Creating Space V symposium in Vancouver on April 24 and 25, 2015 in conjunction with the Canadian Conference on Medical Education (CCME).

Creating Space is an annual meeting that explores the new and evolving use of the arts, humanities and social sciences (AHSS) in health professional education to better prepare students for clinical and academic careers.

The theme of the fifth meeting is ‘New Directions and Critical Perspectives’. We plan to highlight the different conceptual and theoretical frameworks informing our work and the challenges of collaborating across the disciplines of AHSS and the health professions.

Proposals are due midnight PST, January 4, 2015.

Please view the detailed Call for Proposals, where you will find more information about all acceptable submission formats and the conference in general, at

We hope you will join us in Vancouver.
