CFS: Picturing Humanitarian Healthcare
Picturing Humanitarian Healthcare is a virtual “salon” encouraging dialogue, debate, exchange, and reflection on all types of visual representations in and of the contexts of humanitarian healthcare crisis. We are currently seeking submissions of images from researchers, healthcare professionals, aid workers, photographers, artists and others for publication on the salon website. Images might depict the broad context of humanitarian healthcare crises, tell a personal story, speak to the value and/or tensions of trans-national care, show relations between healthcare providers and their patients and/or environment or engage the social, political, importance of image-making. Please note that we are looking for images that avoid victimizing and demoralizing content. All submissions must be the original work of the individual submitting them. Images will be reviewed by the Picturing Humanitarian Ethics editors to ensure the appropriateness of the content for our intentions of dialogue and exchange.
